Ive finally made it!

I can't belive im actually doing this - Its only taken me a few months of thinking about it and mulling it over in my head before actually giving myself a much needed kick up the backside into doing it!
At first my main intention of setting up this blog was broarden my cooking repertoire and to make use of my beloved but never-ending collection of cookbooks , food magazines and recipe clippings i have aquirred over the years. Although i have a great penchant for accumulating these things i could proberly count on one hand how many i use which seems silly since i spend hours being allured and seduced by the pages and pages of recipes by the likes of Nigella, Gorden and Jamie. Its an infactuation that confuseses me considering i have got the eating habits of a rabbit yet put Raymond Blanc on the television cooking spinach and quails egg ravioli and i cant take my dazed compection away from the screen , i become hypnotized by the way the spinach gently moulds together around the delicate but perfectly formed quails egg and how the pasta dough comes together to form a silky rich butter coloured dough - i doubt id notice if someone came up behind me and  shaved my hair off .

So with that said this blog is going to make me put this knowledge ive been collecting to good use and im going to start trying to get through the stacks of recipes i have admired on the way , good or bad ill be reporting how they turn out and hopefully learn some new skills along the way.
